Plathottam / Plathottathil Family

I am Joseph Lookka Plathottathil, known also as Sojan live in Bangor, Northern Ireland, UK since 2004. I am a social worker by profession and and work in a hospital at Belfast.

I completed my studies at SNVUPSchool, Selliampara, Govt High School Vellathooval, VKPMHS Mankadavu, Govt Law College Ernakulam and Sanskrit University Kalady.

My wife, Elsy Joseph is a staff nurse in a nursing home at Bangor. She is from Chundankuzhiyil family, Murikkumthotty (Pooppara), Idukki Dist. We have 2 children - Aleena born in 2002 and Abel born in 2005.

My father, Lookka Plathottathil (Appachan / Appichi) was born in a Village called Cheruvandoor near Ettumanoor (Kottayam Dist.) and then moved to the highranges in Idukki ditrict. He settled in a village called Kuthupara when he was young and then moved to the neighbouring villege Selliapara where I was born.

My Mother, Thressiamma is from Choorakkattu family who were originally in Kottayam and then came to Kattappana.
I have 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
